English classes

Hello everyone, I'm back again...This is my last blog post.

It's a little bit sad to realize that this semester is ending. But I'm really thankful for the teacher who supports me and all my classmates to understand the use of English in a better way. I don't have anything negative to say about the subject. The problem is just that I'm not confident speaking in English. Actually, I'm a very structured person and if I pronounce wrong just one word, I feel like I'm the dumbest person in this world.

I undoubtedly have to say that this subject was full o enriching experiences, one of those experiences was writing blogs. I had the opportunity to realize a lot of things that I would never think, for example, what am I going to study after finishing my degree or what country do I want to visit in the future.

Definitely, I need to improve my vocabulary and grammar. Because even if I can understand many words, my vocabulary while I'm speaking is so poor. Because I'm used to replicating words that I'm constantly listening to, for example, if the word "literally" is a trend...then I'm going to use it.

In my case, I use a lot of English while I'm with my best friends because one of them is studying "English Literature". And we use English because sometimes we are no able to remember some words in Spanish. It's not like a complex conversation, but still. Besides that, I read and listen to English speakers on Youtube and Instagram. Obviously, for the memes, there are there.

Thank y'all for reading me

PD: I loved that the university implemented this subject.

  3. When you say "if I mispronounce a single word, I feel like I'm the dumbest person in the world", I really feel you, because the same thing happens to me :(
