New challenges and curriculum
Hello again, today I'm going to talk about, guess what?... Education. Yes, again.
You all know that I'm a fan of education. Even if it's complex to understand or with too many edges of knowledge. For now, I'm going to focus on the curriculum of my career.
As you know, right now I'm studying Preschool education. And the focus that my university gives to this career is an approach of an educator who can research topics that are relevant to education and to children.
Because of that, we have two subjects there are related to this vision of an educator:
*Investigation methodology
*Educational Investigation
But I think, as a newbie, that these subjects are not very relevant to my formation as an educator. Because we need that knowledge later, for example, in my 4th year. That year is near to the thesis, which consists of an investigation to qualify for the degree.
About the length or duration of the career, I think it's ok now. Because thanks to the lockdown and the sanitary situation, the teachers and all the educative community gave us a lot of flexibility in assignments and giving us opportunities to relax.
I do not have an opinion about the buildings and infrastructure of the Faculty. For the reason that I don't know the campus and I have not experienced the face-to-face classes. The same as the co-curricular activities, I don't know how I can participate in one of those activities if I'm not on campus.
Now onto the use of technology. In the description of the degree, it's promised that when I'll graduate from the university, I will be able to use technological tools to produce audiovisual material. But, as you can predict, there's no subject about the use of technological methods. Even if we are in a pandemic that depends on technology and online classes.
And the last thing, I don't have any issues or problems with the actual methods of teaching, also, I want to thanks my teachers for their patience and the passion they have for pedagogy.
